Found this in the morning ... thank God it didn't spread!
Inspection of the batteries and all other cables showed the fire was contained in the controller
7/31 - Update from the Victron rep (Inverters R Us) narrowed it to expansion on the outbound load side of the controller or a lightning strike.
8/1 - Spoke with Inverters R Us again today and sent them the invoice for warranty purposes and they have directed ne to their RMA page so we can start the return. They will do some diagnosis when they get the controller.
All's well that ends well
